Steve Chatfield

 Specialising in street food. Chef Steve Chatfield  has been a chef and teacher of cooking for 22  years, "I have lived and worked in Kitchens in England, France, Spain, and South Korea."

"I use my experience and skill to source local and speciality ingredients, to make food which is fresh, vibrant in colour, texture and flavour - interesting and delicious." 

My wife Kelly and I have been catering events, markets and festivals since 2015.

The business started as ROK Kitchen, I was always looking for a great business idea in which to use my skills - after living in South Korea for so many years and loving the food, I knew the flavour combinations, and dishes I had experienced were unique and worth recreating to the best of my ability. As I have travelled around the UK, I have adapted recipes and introduced some of my own ideas as I have seen the demand for both exotic and familiar dishes. 

With this ethos, I was proud to be announced Street Food Chef of the Year 2019 at the StrEAT Food Challenge hosted by Ooh Magazine.
